Carson Wentz is an American football quarterback for the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles. Wentz played college football at North Dakota State University and was selected by the Eagles with the second overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, the highest selection ever for an FCS player. In his first year with the Eagles, Wentz accumulated multiple NFL and Eagles rookie records, including most pass attempts by a rookie quarterback and most pass completions by a rookie. In the 2017 season, Wentz helped the Eagles to an 11–2 record when he went down with an injury.
